Yara has almost a decade in the Medical Tourism field. She brings a calm, personal approach to every consultation, helping patients feel informed and confident as they compare provider options, shape a realistic plan, and prepare for a safe arrival in the Dominican Republic.

Jazzel not only studied Medicine in DR, but has almost two decades in the operations roles. She focuses on the details that make patients feel cared for, coordinating communication, travel touchpoints, and recovery support so each person feels accompanied before treatment, during arrival, and after their procedure.

How do I get started?

Start by completing the consultation request form on this page or complete the form through social media. We then schedule your consultation, where one or two Isla Med Match team members may join to understand your goals, timing, and support needs.

  • • Within 48 business hours after consultation, you receive provider options and quote ranges.
  • • A deposit is due within 7 days to secure your treatment date.
  • • 50% of the total package amount is due 3 to 4 weeks before arrival.
  • • Before travel, we share a detailed guide so your trip and care plan are organized.
  • • After arrival, our team accompanies you to key appointments and helps arrange your selected recovery home.
  • • The remaining balance is paid upon arrival in the Dominican Republic.
  • • Any medications or garments purchased locally are paid before departure, with clear invoicing provided.

Tips are always appreciated for exceptional service, but they are never required.

How does provider matching work?

After your consultation, Isla MedMatch curates 1 to 3 trusted provider options based on your goals, comfort level, timeline, and budget expectations. We walk you through each option clearly so you can choose with confidence and without pressure.

How do payments work?

We provide a clear payment schedule with due dates so you always know what is due and when. Payments are made in advance according to that timeline.

  • • Accepted methods: Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, and Dominican Republic bank transfer.
  • • Every payment is documented so your records stay organized and transparent.
Can I travel with a companion?

Yes, companions are welcome. Their accommodations are not arranged by Isla MedMatch, so they should plan their own lodging and travel details separately.

A travel companion is not required as long as your emergency contact information is complete and on file.

What support is included for travel and surgery timing?

We coordinate arrival windows, transfers, pre-op labs, and scheduling checkpoints so your travel plan and procedure timing stay organized, clear, and less stressful.

How is recovery coordination handled?

We coordinate recovery stay details, nursing support if needed, and post-op essentials so you can focus on healing with practical help close at hand.

How can I contact someone?

Once you are accepted, you can contact our team by email, phone, or WhatsApp during business hours, unless there is an emergency that needs immediate attention.
